From September 15 to November 10, 2025, more than 200 flights were operated from Siberia to China - 16% more than in the same period last year, the Siberian Customs Administration reported. The activation of air traffic is associated with the abolition of the visa regime between Russia and China.
Most of the flights were operated from Irkutsk - 71 departures (+20%), from Krasnoyarsk - 68 and from Novosibirsk - 66.
According to the department, over the specified period, more than 30 thousand people flew to China on direct flights, which is 40% higher than last year's figures.
The most popular destinations were Sanya, Harbin, Beijing and Manzhouli, and in 2025 a new route was added - Shanghai.
