Russian airline Red Wings has announced the expansion of VIP passenger transportation. Premium flights on the Superjet-100 aircraft will be operated from Moscow's Vnukovo to Antalya and Bodrum in Turkey.
Flights to Antalya will be available from May 18 to October 13, twice a week (a third flight is planned to be added from June). Flights to Bodrum will start on June 25 and will continue until October 8 (twice a week). The flights are planned to be operated in the Fun&Sun program format with the assistance of the Rixos hotel chain.
VIP clients will be transported by the Superjet-100 (SSJ-100 (RA-89007) jet. The aircraft accommodates 50 passengers and has undergone a major upgrade with engine replacement and installation of comfortable seats.
The aircraft was put into operation in December 2023 and has since been actively used in the charter program, for flights within Russia and abroad, in particular to Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Israel.
A ticket for a premium flight includes hot meals on board from the restaurant menu, as well as individual tablets with an entertainment multimedia system. Passengers will have access to business lounges in Antalya, Bodrum and Moscow. The free baggage allowance per person has been increased to 25 kg.
It was previously reported that Gazprom Tech will undertake the conversion of the Tu-324 into a new business jet.
