IAEA chief Rafael Grossi responded to Trump's statement about nuclear weapons tests by other countries

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has not recorded any signs of nuclear tests worldwide. This was announced by the organization's Director General Rafael Grossi, commenting on recent statements by US President Donald Trump about the conduct of tests by other states.

Grossi noted that according to monitoring data, there are no events indicating the presence of nuclear tests. He expressed hope that this situation will continue in the future. The statements were made after a meeting with Rosatom Director General Alexei Likhachev in Kaliningrad.

In recent weeks, Trump has raised questions about possible nuclear tests, claiming that other countries, including Russia and China, are conducting similar actions.

On November 5, Vladimir Putin stated at a meeting of the Security Council that Russia does not plan to withdraw from the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty. The head of state added that if the United States violates this treaty, Russia may change its position.
