Rostec State Corporation will present an updated line of air defense equipment developed by the High-Precision Systems holding at Dubai Airshow 2025. The main premieres will be the Pantsir-SMD-E anti-aircraft missile system and a compact short-range radar station designed to counter modern drone threats.
The modular Pantsir-SMD-E is designed to protect industrial and administrative facilities and can be installed on the roofs of buildings and stationary sites. An increased ammunition load – up to 48 mini-missiles – ensures effective repulsion of mass UAV attacks. According to Bekkhan Ozdoev, Industrial Director of the Rostec Armaments Cluster, the complex meets the global demand for increased protection against unmanned threats.
The compact short-range radar with a mass of 45 kg is capable of detecting medium-sized UAVs at a distance of at least 7.5 km, providing air space monitoring at low altitudes.
The exposition will also include:
- Airspace Control System (ACS) – detects and tracks aerial targets, including UAVs and cruise missiles, even at low altitude and low speed.
- Verba MANPADS – a means of destroying aircraft, helicopters and drones.
- Dzhigit support and launch unit – a module for the Verba and Igla MANPADS, operating on the "fire-and-forget" principle and deployed in three minutes on the ground or on a car.
Also at Dubai Airshow 2025, Russian companies will present the high-speed Supercam drone, Orlan-30 reconnaissance drones, a bundle of drones from Kalashnikov SKAT-350M and UBB KUB-2E and various modifications of modern aviation of Russia.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Kalashnikov will present the SKAT-350M and UBB KUB-2E bundle at Dubai Airshow 2025.
