Unique footage has emerged online showing the launch of a Kinzhal hypersonic missile system from a modernized MiG-31I interceptor fighter.
According to official sources, the launch was conducted as part of scheduled flight tests. The crew practiced the algorithm for using the system at high altitude and checked the interaction of onboard systems with the missile. The department emphasized that the exercises included assessing accuracy, target tracking stability, and operation in various load modes.
Experts note that such publications provide a better understanding of the technical aspects of operating hypersonic systems, which usually remain behind the scenes. In addition, such footage confirms the continuation of the testing program aimed at improving the aviation missile system.
According to analysts, interest in the material is also due to the fact that modern hypersonic technologies are considered one of the most complex areas in military aviation.
