The Russian military conducted new tests of the heavy multi-purpose quadcopter "Elephant" - a strike and logistics platform similar to the "Baba Yaga" UAV, but with twice the payload capacity.
The drone confirmed its ability to carry up to 120 kg of payload and cover up to 15 kilometers with it, delivering to a specified point and returning to base.
During the tests, the "Elephant" lifted a fully equipped person - weighing about 90 kg - into the air, carried them over the site and gently lowered them to the ground, demonstrating stability and power reserve.
A company representative noted that the "Elephant" is being created as a multifunctional platform. In the future, it is planned to install electronic warfare equipment on it, transport special equipment, and also use the device for various types of air delivery.
Earlierwww1.ru reported that Kalashnikov will present the SKAT-350M and UBB "KUB-2E" bundle at Dubai Airshow 2025.
