Lada dealers resume Largus sales after a break

Sales of new Lada Largus models have become available again in dealerships after a two-week break. This was reported by insiders. It is claimed that AvtoVAZ has completed an inspection of a limited batch of cars due to a problem with a valve supplied by an external manufacturer.

According to insiders, tests at the test site revealed only minor features in the settings that cannot lead to malfunctions that limit the operation of cars. According to unofficial information, the reason for the suspension of sales was the discovery of a defect in the unit associated with the power steering.

The suspension of sales affected 5,000 Largus units. An analysis of AvtoVAZ data shows that the number of warranty claims related to Largus steering was extremely small.

Since 2024, the Lada Largus model has been produced at the plant in Izhevsk, where the Lada Vesta was previously assembled. AvtoVAZ has not published sales statistics by model for some time, however, in St. Petersburg, according to insiders, almost a quarter of all Lada cars sold were Largus - more than 1.5 thousand of these cars were sold from January to September.

According to the Avtostat report for 10 months of this year, Lada sales amounted to 33.5 thousand cars, which is 25.8% less compared to the same period in 2024. The sales leader remains the Granta model, which was sold in the amount of 15.1 thousand units in January-October (28.4% less than in 2024).
