Future Russian missiles with a nuclear power plant will be supersonic. This was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
He drew attention to the powerful ultra-small nuclear reactors of the "Burevestnik". The system starts up in seconds, while conventional reactors take hours or even days.
Putin noted that a new generation of weapons is already being created on the basis of such power plants.
Moreover, the development of the next generation of cruise missiles with nuclear engines has begun. Their speed will be more than three times the speed of sound, and in the future they will become hypersonic.
The President added that in terms of flight range, the "Burevestnik" surpassed all missile systems known in the world.
It has a high accuracy of hitting the target, which it clearly, confidently reaches at a pre-calculated time.
Military expert Alexei Leonkov explained that even the so-called "Golden Dome" will not be able to stop the "Burevestnik" — a promising American air defense system.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the cost of one Iskander-M missile became known.
