The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAZ) plans to return the "Patriot" SUV with an automatic transmission to production. This was reported by the company's press service, although the exact dates for the updated model's release to the market have not yet been specified.
The issue of returning the modification with an automatic transmission to the model line of the "UAZ Patriot" is still on the agenda. It is premature to talk about the timing of the appearance, model, and characteristics of this type of transmission at the moment.
Currently, the priority for the company remains the launch of updated "Patriot", "Pickup", and "Profi" models. The cars will receive diesel and modernized gasoline engines, as well as a six-speed manual transmission.
The "Patriot" version with an automatic transmission first entered the market in 2019. However, in early 2022, orders for this model were stopped due to sanctions affecting the supply of necessary components.
Earlier,www1.ru reported that UAZreleased the first batch of "Patriots" with an updated engine and transmission.
