The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant is preparing to modernize its UAZ "Patriot" SUV.
The car in the new version will be shown in a year, in November 2025. This was reported to "RG" by a source at the enterprise, and so far the plant has not officially refuted this information.
The insider noted that the updated UAZ "Patriot" will receive gasoline and diesel versions, as well as:
- new 6-speed manual transmission;
- LED headlights and taillights, which will be "radically more efficient" than the existing optics;
- new front panel;
- new steering wheel;
- new central tunnel.
Earlier it became known that UAZ "Hunter" received the ZMZ Pro engine. The surcharge for this more powerful engine when buying is 20 thousand rubles.
