The Belarusian holding company "Horizont" will begin serial production of tablets based on the Android operating system (OS) in November. This was announced by Yuri Predko, General Director of JSC "Management Company of the Holding "Horizont".
Mass deliveries to stores are planned for December, before the New Year holidays. Modern high-tech lines are being launched to ensure the quality and stability of the products.
According to him, the holding has purchased the necessary equipment and is debugging technical processes.
The plans of "Horizont" to produce tablets became known in July 2025. Devices with a diagonal of 10 inches will be produced in three cases: gold, silver, and graphite. Representatives of the company have not yet disclosed the technical characteristics of compact computers.
The "Horizont" holding is the largest manufacturer of household appliances and consumer electronics in the CIS, including laptops of the H-book line. The enterprise was created on the basis of the "Electrit" plant in Minsk.
