Design in 3D: NettleDesk holographic stations appeared at Omsk Technical University

Russian NettleDesk holographic stations have appeared at the Scientific and Educational Center (SEC) "Visualization Tools in Mechanical Engineering" based at the Advanced Engineering School of Omsk State Technical University (OmSTU). This was reported by the university's press service.

Students transfer models, parts, and movable assemblies to holographic complexes. As part of the "Project Activities" discipline, they can visualize their own developments.

The NettleDesk holographic station helps to study the rendering of technical devices, the visualization of designed equipment, as well as the development of presentations for technical projects. The university believes that this training will become the foundation for professional growth.

About the NettleDesk holographic station

The training equipment is included in the Register of Russian Industrial Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The kit includes: a holographic screen, a graphic workstation, specialized glasses, a stylus, and a mouse.
