Amperion, a company within the RUSNANO Group, has developed a multifunctional mobile energy storage system commissioned by Rosseti Moscow Region. The system was presented at the Russian Energy Week exhibition.
The capacity of the mobile power plant is enough for a small village or a residential building entrance – about 150 kW/h. The completely silent and environmentally friendly station can operate in conditions from -30°C to +30°C. It can be used to charge electric vehicles and stabilize voltage in the grid. A full charge of the system will take only 4 hours.
This high-tech solution is part of a large-scale program to introduce modern storage devices into the power grid.
We see mobile storage as an important element of the new energy supply architecture. Our goal is to make the energy sector not only more reliable, but also technologically independent.
The experimental prototype will be tested in real conditions. If the results are high, Rosseti Moscow Region plans to create more powerful complexes and, together with RUSNANO, scale this experience to other regions, assured Alexander Pyatigor, General Director of Rosseti Moscow Region.
