Unique Ansat Helicopter Attracts Significant Interest Abroad

The validation of the Ansat type certificate was carried out in China, India, Zimbabwe, Turkmenistan, and Mexico

The Russian Helicopters holding (part of Rostec) presented a new air ambulance Ansat helicopter produced by the Kazan Helicopter Plant (KVZ) to journalists from leading Arab media outlets. The helicopter was showcased at the exhibition of the industrial potential of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Experts were presented with the Ansat, equipped with a medical module for transporting patients and the injured, as well as an infectious disease box for medical evacuation of patients suspected of infection with particularly dangerous infections and viruses.

In addition to Mi-8 type machines, which are traditionally in significant demand, there is growing interest in light Ansat helicopters. Among their advantages are high maneuverability and ease of operation.

Rostec added that the sanitary version of the Ansat also provides rapid transportation of the patient accompanied by two medical workers, allowing compliance with the "golden hour" rule for saving a person's life and providing timely assistance.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russian tires for the chassis of MS-21 and SJ-100 airliners have successfully passed certification.
