By the end of 2025, Avtotor in Kaliningrad will begin assembling four car models using a full cycle. Ruslan Sadykov, General Director of the production complex, noted that the company has more ambitious goals for 2026: "We intend to launch body welding for eight new models."
As part of these plans, Avtotor is building a modern painting complex with a capacity of 200,000 bodies per year. This will allow the company not only to increase production volumes, but also to deepen localization, independently producing components such as seats, exhaust systems and electronic parts.
Sadykov also added that the company is preparing two more large projects with automakers that have not yet been named. According to insiders, the production of Jetour Dashing crossovers with a full cycle, including welding and painting of bodies, has already been launched.
