Sales of the Lada Niva SUV have begun in the Czech Republic. The car importer, AMC Autocentrum Kratonohy, emphasizes that the cars are not of Russian origin. This is due to the fact that they were produced at the Azerbaijani plant "AzerMash" in cooperation with AvtoVAZ.
This is a product of local production, the VIN code of which begins with NVA. The import of cars is carried out in full compliance with applicable laws. The cars are officially imported into the EU and legally cleared through customs.
Official dealers provide customers with a guarantee for two years or the first 100 thousand kilometers of mileage.
It is noted that the car is especially revered by the Czechs, having become a cult thanks to its role in the widely loved Czechoslovak series "Guests" (1983).
The cost of Niva in the Czech Republic starts from 498 thousand Czech crowns (about 1.9 million rubles as of October 9, 2025). This is almost twice as expensive than in the Russian market, where an SUV can currently be bought from 1,059,000 rubles, excluding discounts.
The technical characteristics of the Niva Legend for the Czech market are no different from Russian cars - the SUV also has a 1.7-liter engine with a capacity of 83 hp, working in tandem with a mechanical gearbox. The car has all-wheel drive.
