The Leningrad Optical Mechanical Association named after V.I. Lenin (LOMO JSC, part of the Kalashnikov concern) presented the latest ILLUMINA MK-II and ILLUMINA MK-III series cine lenses at the International Creative Economy Conference (RICS) in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the concern's press service.
The stand with high-speed lenses was inspected by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak and St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov. Alexander Zakharov, Director of Civil Development at LOMO JSC, stated that Russian-made lenses are very popular abroad.

LOMO produces optical, optoelectronic, optodigital, and optomechanical devices for civil and military purposes. The production of ILLUMINA MK-II and ILLUMINA MK-III series cine lenses is one of the priority areas.
The line of high-speed lenses is designed for use in film equipment when shooting in formats up to Super 35 on 35mm film, as well as in digital cameras with a standard PL-mount.
The press service of the association emphasized that the optical characteristics of the lenses meet the world standard.
