The Kaliningrad-based Avtotor plant has introduced an updated version of the Work pickup, produced under the AmberTruck commercial vehicle brand. The modification received the NF (New Face) prefix in the name, which indicates a facelift with an emphasis on changes in the design of the front of the body.
AmberTruck Work NF is an all-wheel drive pickup with a gross weight of 2.8 tons and a payload of 890 kg, combining the off-road capability of an all-wheel drive vehicle and the comfort of a passenger car. It is designed to transport both passengers and small cargo.
In the restyled version of the Work pickup, the emphasis is on the front end, with changes designed to give the appearance more solidity and respectability. The new front optics and modified panel visually expand and add weight to the car's silhouette.
The power plant remained unchanged: under the hood of the updated AmberTruck Work is still a 2.5-liter Ford turbodiesel engine with 128 hp and a torque of 310 Nm at 3600 rpm. The transmission is a five-speed Magna C530 manual gearbox.
A reduction gear with a gear ratio of 2.48 provides confident movement even when fully loaded, with a trailer or on difficult terrain. The pickup has a wheelbase of 3085 mm and a chassis length of 5345 mm. The ground clearance is 200 mm, and the fording depth is 450 mm. The cargo platform measures 1475×1475 mm and has a durable polymer coating to protect against damage, equipped with steel arches and loops for attaching a tarpaulin.
According to representatives of the AmberTruck brand, more than a hundred updated pickups have already been assembled at the Avtotor plant. All cars are covered by a factory warranty of 3 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.
Earlier,www1.ru reported thatthe company "Romanov" conducted tests of the BAZ-S31A31 flatbed truck with maximum load.
