The Kaliningrad-based Avtotor plant has unveiled an updated version of the Work pickup, produced under the AmberTruck commercial vehicle brand. The modification received the NF (New Face) prefix in its name, indicating a facelift with an emphasis on changes in the design of the front of the body.
AmberTruck Work NF is an all-wheel drive pickup with a gross weight of 2.8 tons and a payload of 890 kg, combining the off-road capability of an all-wheel drive vehicle and the comfort of a passenger car. It is designed to transport both passengers and small cargo.
The restyled version of the Work pickup focuses on the front end, with changes designed to give the vehicle a more solid and respectable appearance. The new front optics and modified panel visually widen and add weight to the vehicle's silhouette.
The power plant remains unchanged: the updated AmberTruck Work is still equipped with a 2.5-liter Ford turbodiesel engine with 128 hp and 310 Nm of torque at 3600 rpm. The transmission is a five-speed Magna C530 manual gearbox.
A reduction gear with a gear ratio of 2.48 ensures confident movement even when fully loaded, with a trailer or on difficult terrain. The pickup has a wheelbase of 3085 mm and a chassis length of 5345 mm. The ground clearance is 200 mm, and the fording depth is 450 mm. The cargo platform measures 1475×1475 mm and features a durable polymer coating for protection against damage, as well as steel arches and loops for attaching a tarpaulin.
According to representatives of the AmberTruck brand, more than a hundred updated pickups have already been assembled at the Avtotor plant. All vehicles are covered by a factory warranty of 3 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first.
