A new Belarusian-Russian enterprise for the production of axial piston hydraulic pumps has opened in Pinsk. The new plant, named "Hydraulic United Company", was created with the participation of OJSC "BELAZ" and JSC "PNEVMOSSTROYMASHINA" and is focused on the production of pumps with adjustable capacity, as well as their maintenance and repair.
The project was implemented as part of an import-substitution investment program with a total funding of 597.8 million rubles. At the first stage, the enterprise will produce up to 5.5 thousand pumps and spare parts per year, with the possibility of increasing capacity to 8.5 thousand units. The new facility is included in the industrial map of Pinsk and is aimed at strengthening the region's production potential.
The launch of the enterprise will allow the formation of its own design and technological school, develop new competencies in the field of hydraulics, reduce dependence on foreign suppliers and increase the technological stability of the machine-building sector. The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Petr Parkhomchik, the Minister of Industry of Belarus Andrei Kuznetsov, the General Director of OJSC "BELAZ" Sergei Lesin and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "PNEVMOSSTROYMASHINA" Anatoly Pavlov.
The enterprise strengthens industrial cooperation between Belarus and Russia, contributes to the development of the machine-building sector and supports strategic tasks for import substitution, providing the region with modern technologies and jobs.
