Specialists from JSC "LOMO" of the Kalashnikov Concern presented a unique hardware and software complex (HSC) for controlling the optical parameters of lenses at the XXI Scientific and Technical Conference "Systems for Observation, Monitoring and Remote Sensing of the Earth". The developers' report received positive feedback from experts.
During the presentation, LOMO specialists described the capabilities of the HSC, designed for accurate verification of the optical characteristics of lenses used in observation systems. The complex allows measuring parameters such as focal length and resolution with high precision. The solution was developed for use in space equipment, where the reliability of optics is critical.
Conference participants discussed the creation of an electronic component base for space devices, the prospects for using satellite technologies in the "Safe Arctic – 2025" exercises, and the experience of import substitution in component production. The results of research on ensuring technological independence were also presented. Discussions included methods for processing data from satellites and the development of aerospace monitoring. The conference confirmed the high potential of domestic developments in the space sector and the country's ability to provide itself with the necessary technologies.
JSC "LOMO" is an enterprise with a history dating back to 1914, specializing in optical-mechanical systems. It is part of the Kalashnikov Concern and produces equipment for scientific and industrial needs, including optics for satellites.
