A rare example of the GAZ-12 ZIM government limousine from 1955, which is in perfect condition, has been put up for sale in Moscow. This car, which has retained its factory appearance, has a mileage of only 2,700 kilometers in its 70 years of existence. The seller estimated it at 10 million rubles, which is five times less than the cost of a new Aurus Senat.
The car owner writes that the limousine is in good running order and has retained its excellent condition. Under the hood of this rarity is a 6-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 3.5 liters, developing a power of 90 hp. The engine is paired with a 3-speed manual gearbox, the car has rear-wheel drive.
GAZ-12 ZIM was produced in the USSR from 1949 to 1959 and became the first representative model of the Gorky Automobile Plant. During the production period, only about 22 thousand copies rolled off the assembly line, which makes this limousine a real collector's item.
