The multipurpose nuclear submarines "Krasnoyarsk" of project 885 "Yasen" and "Omsk" of project 949A "Antey" of the Pacific Fleet carried out missile firing with Onyx and Granit cruise missiles at a sea target in the Sea of Okhotsk, the Pacific Fleet reported.
Cruise missiles were fired at a sea target position at a distance of more than 250 km. According to objective control data, all three missiles hit the target with direct hits.
The task was completed as part of a command and staff exercise on the protection and defense of sea communications in the northern part of the Pacific Ocean.
Also, the frigate of project 22350 "Admiral Golovko" as part of the "Zapad-2025" exercises launched a hypersonic Zircon missile in the Barents Sea, guided by a Tu-142 reconnaissance aircraft.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the missile cruiser "Admiral Nakhimov" has completed the first stage of testing.
