During the Belarusian-Russian exercises "Zapad", the military personnel practiced deploying the newest Oreshnik ground complex, said the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Belarus, Pavel Muraveiko.
According to him, the military also worked out the planning and consideration of the use of non-strategic nuclear weapons.
Among the significant events, I can note the assessment and deployment of the Oreshnik mobile missile system.
Muraveiko added that Russian colleagues shared their combat experience with Belarus, which allows us to say that the units receive the most modern, most advanced information, which is automatically integrated into combat reality.
The media also reported that large-scale construction of anew military base began in Belarus, the area of which exceeded 2 km², which is comparable to 280 football fields. Journalists suggested that the facility is being prepared for the deployment of "Oreshnik".
