At the October exhibition-forum "Road 2025" in Mineralnye Vody, a domestic development aimed at automating the process of laying asphalt concrete mix will be presented. This was announced by Sergei Alekhin, representing the "R.O.S. Asphalt" Association. The project was developed by Gazpromneft-Bitumen Technologies.
The project involves the use of innovative technologies, including telematics and machine vision systems, ensuring the autonomous operation of road rollers and pavers. Despite full automation, safety requirements imply the presence of an operator in the roller cabs, although they do not directly participate in the process.
The focus of the "Road 2025" forum will be the presentation of innovative developments in the road industry. Participants will see advanced technologies such as unmanned transport systems, digital solutions for road construction and intelligent infrastructure management systems. A special place will be given to the demonstration of Russian technologies for automated road paving, which will emphasize the high level of technological development of domestic companies.
