Ufa Locomotive Repair Plant (UTRZ) has filed for bankruptcy — the Arbitration Court of Bashkiria recognized it as justified.
The observation procedure has begun, and its results will be summarized on March 2, 2026. The plant cited accounts payable of 13.3 million rubles as the main justification for its insolvency.
Currently, the arbitration court is considering six cases against UTRZ, where the plaintiffs are seeking to recover a total amount of 5.4 million rubles. Among them are organizations such as Russian Railways, "KrasnoyarskKraiugol", "Spetsavtokhozyaystvo po uborke goroda", the Federal Tax Service, and the "Ural Center for Certification."
UTRZ was founded in 1888. The company's certificate for the repair of shunting locomotives is valid until July 2026. In 2024, the plant's revenue amounted to 458 million rubles, and net profit — 723 thousand rubles.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the largest machine-building plant, NPO "Sibselmash", was declared completely bankrupt.
