Glavgosexpertiza of Russia has approved the construction project of a phygital center on Moskovskaya Street in Kirov. The new sports complex, designed for 80 visitors, will combine physical and digital sports. The project has successfully passed the pre-project expertise, receiving a positive conclusion.
The phygital center in Kirov will become a platform for training and tournaments in phygital sports — a format that combines sports and esports disciplines. The building will include a universal sports hall, a gym with a car simulator, an area with game consoles and virtual reality, a dance simulator, a computer center, and rooms for laser tag. The technical solutions of the project were carefully worked out at the stage of expert support, which allowed eliminating all comments before the main stage of the examination.
As a result, all complex solutions for the facility were worked out even before the main stage of the examination, which allowed, within the time allotted for the examination, to remove all comments and obtain a positive conclusion from the state examination of project documentation and the results of engineering surveys, including verification of the reliability of determining the estimated cost.
The chief project expert, Elena Khlystova, noted that the architecture of the center combines laconic forms, large glass surfaces, and aluminum composite panels, giving the building a modern industrial look. The project passed the verification of the reliability of the estimated cost and was approved in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 717.
Phygital sports is a new format gaining popularity in Russia, where participants compete in physical and digital disciplines simultaneously. The center in Kirov will become one of the first venues of this kind in the region, contributing to the development of innovative sports directions.
