The new model of the "Tonar-7504" mining dump truck was presented at the Eurasia Construction Technology 2025 exhibition, which is taking place these days in St. Petersburg.
Tonar mining dump trucks are designed for use in the mining industry, including quarries and coal mines, as well as in the construction industry. This equipment occupies a position between conventional road trucks and large mining dump trucks.
The advantages of the dump truck are its reliable design and relatively low cost of ownership. Two body configurations are offered: a standard 38 cubic meter capacity for transporting rock and an increased capacity of up to 42.5 cubic meters, designed for transporting coal.
Bodies designed for working with rock or coal are made of Magstrong steel produced by MMK. The maximum body volume can reach 42 cubic meters when fully loaded.
The engine is a 13-liter Yuchai diesel with a power of 520 horsepower, combined with a Fast Gear automatic transmission equipped with a torque converter. The maximum angle of ascent that the dump truck can overcome is 30%.
A design feature of the chassis is a maintenance-free suspension that uses rubber elastic elements.
The launch of the Tonar-7504 model into mass production is expected by the end of 2025. The planned production volume is 4 vehicles per month.
