Chelyabinsk Mechanical Plant (ChMZ) has presented a new "Chelyabinets KM-206" truck with a crane-manipulator unit. The expansion of the plant's specialized equipment line is aimed at meeting the growing demand for multifunctional solutions in the construction, energy and utilities industries.
The new "Chelyabinets KM-206" is positioned as a universal solution for a wide range of tasks, from construction and repair work to loading and unloading operations in warehouses and production sites. The developers assure that the machine combines reliability, functionality and ease of operation.
The key element of the novelty is a crane-manipulator unit, providing high accuracy and maneuverability when working with cargo. The operator gets the opportunity to remotely control, which increases the safety and efficiency of work. The possibility of lifting cargo to a height of several meters is declared, which allows performing tasks in a limited space and difficult terrain conditions. The carrying capacity of the machine is 9 tons.
The choice of the Chinese Beiben truck as a chassis is due, according to representatives of the plant, to the optimal combination of price and quality. Beiben, produced under license from Mercedes-Benz, is known for its robust design and adaptation to harsh operating conditions.
