St. Petersburg company NIPC "Electron", the only domestic manufacturer of angiographs in Russia, has announced an update to its line of angiographic systems.  The devices are becoming an important alternative to foreign counterparts, which is especially relevant in the context of the import substitution policy.

AKR angiographs from NIPC "Electron" are designed for a wide range of diagnostic procedures and monitoring of surgical interventions in such critical areas as cardiology, angiology, neurology and oncology. The equipment allows doctors to more accurately and effectively conduct diagnostics and treatment, which ultimately improves the quality of medical care for patients.

One of the key features of the updated angiographs: the ability to choose between a traditional floor-standing design and a ceiling mount. The latter significantly simplifies access to the patient and frees up space for medical personnel, which is especially important in limited operating room space.

Modern AKR angiographs have improved clarity and detail of images. They are equipped with a rotational angiography function, which allows obtaining three-dimensional images, as well as specialized programs that are in demand, for example, for performing stenting. Thanks to the use of modern emitters, angiographs can be used for long-term studies and complex interventions, which expands their functionality.

The update of the line of angiographic systems from NIPC "Electron" has become an important step towards providing accessible high-tech medical care in every Russian hospital. The first copies of the new angiographs have already been delivered to regional medical institutions. They are actively used for both planned and emergency operations. This not only improves the level of medical care, but also contributes to the development of the domestic medical industry.
