The contactless payment service "Vzhuh", launched by Sber on August 25, 2025 for iPhone owners, attracted more than 1.6 million users and processed 5 million transactions in its first week of operation.
Sberbank called "Vzhuh" the most successful among other payment methods at the launch stage.
Most often, payments were made in grocery stores and pharmacies, and the largest transaction amounted to over 3 million rubles in a car dealership in St. Petersburg.
"Vzhuh" works through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology on new biometric POS terminals and does not require close contact between the smartphone and the terminal.
The service supports any bank cards (MIR, Visa, Mastercard) and can work even without the Internet, using the start page of the "SberBank Online" application.
