The crab vessel "Mechanic Stepanov" (project 03070) has completed a cycle of mooring and sea trials. The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping has issued documents for the vessel built at the "Otradnoye" plant in the Leningrad Region.
Register specialists checked the seaworthiness of the vessel, as well as the operation of all systems and equipment. During the tests, all mechanisms of the "Mechanic Stepanov" worked in normal mode.
The crab vessel is designed for catching crustaceans. It will be operated in the Far East, the customer is the company "Ostrovnoy-Crab"
Main technical characteristics of vessels of project 03070:
- Length - 50.45 m
- Width - 12 m
- Engine power - 1200 kW
- Speed - 12.5 knots
