Among three-year-old cars of Russian brands, the Lada Vesta SW Cross station wagon retains the highest residual value. Analysts at the Avtostat agency reported that such a car can now be sold at a higher price than its original price.
The Vesta SW Cross version of Izhevsk assembly with a 1.6 liter engine and a manual gearbox is in the lead. Three years after purchase in the second quarter of 2022, its residual value averages 111.8%.
The second place is occupied by the Lada Largus station wagon of Togliatti production with the same engine and mechanics, the residual value of which reached 104.9%. The top three is closed by the Lada Niva Legend SUV (1.7 l, manual transmission) with an indicator of 101%.
Analysts note that the increase in car prices in Russia in recent years has become the main reason why three-year-old cars are now sold more expensive than when purchased in 2022.
