As part of the Russian Navy (Navy) in 2025, marine divisions of the Pacific and Baltic Fleets will be formed. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Alexander Moiseev.
According to him, the reformation of individual brigades into divisions has already begun.
This year we will already form two such divisions (marine infantry - note TASS). We are talking about the Pacific Fleet, about the Baltic Fleet, and in the future, the brigades of all fleets will have the status of a division.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin in March, in an address to Mikhail Gudkov, appointed to the post of Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, also stated that marine brigades would be reorganized into divisions.
