The artificial intelligence technology market in Russia in 2025 may grow by 25–30% and reach 1.9 trillion rubles, according to the analytical company Smart Ranking.
The five largest companies account for 95% of revenue from AI monetization. According to data for 2024, the results of the leaders were as follows: Yandex — 500 billion rubles (+49.25%), Sber — 400 billion rubles (+14.29%), T-Technologies (T-Bank) — 350 billion rubles (+16%), VK — 119 billion rubles (+26.34%) and Kaspersky Lab — more than 49 billion rubles (+7.5%).
Market participants note that this assessment may be overestimated, since AI is not the main activity of most leaders. In particular, specialized companies are able to compete with them in narrow segments.
Experts warn that further market growth may be limited by a shortage of modern chips.
