From September 1, 2025, all school and parent chats in Moscow schools will be transferred to the Max messenger. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Anastasia Rakova, at a press conference. According to her, the transition to Max became possible thanks to the adopted federal law.

Also, from September 1, the Max messenger will become mandatory for pre-installation on electronic devices. The decision was made by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, who signed an order to include Max in the list of programs that must be installed on devices sold in Russia.
Earlier, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov spoke about the convenience of the Max messenger. According to him, the program has a clear interface, and the data is stored in a secure form. He expressed hope that the education system will switch to the national messenger as quickly as possible.
Note that Kravtsov assured that teachers will not be required to switch to the national messenger, its use is advisory, the minister emphasized.
