The construction of a high-voltage equipment plant with investments of more than 3.5 billion rubles has begun at the Gryazinskaya site of the Lipetsk special economic zone. This was announced by the governor of the region, Igor Artamonov.
Here, products unique to Russia will be produced - gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) for voltage classes from 110 to 500 kilowatts. This is special equipment in which electricity is controlled and distributed at substations and in power systems. Previously, they were mainly imported, and now we will produce them here.
The company managing the plant plans to actively cooperate with colleges and technical schools in the region. This cooperation includes scholarships and internships for future specialists. This will allow us to train qualified personnel to work at the new enterprise.
Earlier www1.ru reported that a new plant for the production of turbochargers for engines was launched in the Moscow region.
