The Ministry of Digital Affairs has prepared a draft concept for regulating artificial intelligence technologies in Russia until 2030. The document contains the principles of future regulation but does not propose specific legislative initiatives.
The project was developed jointly with the "Alliance in the Field of AI," which unites large companies interested in the development of technologies. The document is currently undergoing expert discussion and consultations with representatives of industries actively implementing AI, after which it will be sent for interdepartmental approval.
The concept focuses on a human-centered approach, trust in technology, technological sovereignty, respect for autonomy and freedom of will, a ban on causing harm, and preventing the "anthropomorphization" of technologies.
