In early August, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation filed a new lawsuit against the Tula-based JSC "NPO "Splav" named after A.N. Ganichev" to recover 81 million rubles. Journalists calculated the total amount of claims that the company received since May 2022.
From the files of the Arbitration Court, it can be learned that since that period, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has filed nine lawsuits against NPO "Splav" in court, for a total amount of more than 540 million rubles.
The military department won some of the cases, lost some, and in some processes, the claims were only partially satisfied. At the moment, it can be said that the current amount of claims against the company is about 300 million rubles.
"Splav" was founded in 1945. The company is a leading global manufacturer of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Tornado-S", "Grad", "Smerch" and "Uragan". The company's products are in service with more than 50 countries around the world. Since 2023, Rinat Idrisov, who previously headed ZAO "SKB" from Perm, has been at the helm of the Tula company.
In 2021, the company first presented the new TOS-2 "Tosochka" flamethrower system on the "Ural" chassis. The thermobaric projectiles of the installation can fly to a range of up to 15 km.
