As part of the GPO projects and summer student practices in electronics, the "Nayadovtsy" students fully immersed themselves in the development process. They independently went through all stages: from modeling and circuit calculation to designing printed circuit boards and final assembly. The result was a prototype that provides reliable communication with minimal interference at a distance of over 1000 meters.
The device provides communication between the base camp and groups working in the cave system. It solves the problem of poor communication that occurs in horizontal labyrinths and at altitude differences, where conventional phones and radios are ineffective. The prototype created in the club can be connected to a field cable at any point.
Technical specifications of the device prototype:
- Communication range (calculated): 5km
- Operating time on reception: six months
- Star connection via field cable
- Size of the final device: within the dimensions of a matchbox
- External case is still under development
- Power supply: 2 AAA batteries or 1 LI-ION battery
