Short-term car rental service BelkaCar has introduced a new feature that allows users to find cars by photos. The option is currently available in test mode and is designed to help users in situations where the GPS signal may be unreliable.
The GPS problem is especially relevant for closed courtyards, parking lots, and densely built-up areas. To facilitate the search, the developers have implemented a function that allows users to navigate using photos uploaded by previous renters.
To use the new feature, users need to click the "Book" button in the car's card. After that, a section with photos will appear, which will help determine exactly where the car is parked. This will greatly simplify the search process and make it more convenient.
BelkaCar, founded in October 2016, currently offers more than 5,000 cars in cities such as Moscow, Sochi, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, St. Petersburg, and Kaliningrad. To use the new feature, you need to update the application to the latest version.
