The «Motorica» group, known for the production of bionic prostheses, is launching a network of medical centers for prosthetics and rehabilitation under the brand «Motorica Orto».
The clinics will provide a full range of services for restoring patients' motor functions.
The company took the first step in developing a new direction in St. Petersburg. The center with an area of 800 m² offers a full range of services: manufacturing prostheses for the upper and lower extremities, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, mechanotherapy, support for endoprosthetics and psychological support.
By 2030, «Motorica» plans to open a network of 10 such centers in different regions of Russia. The next three centers will be opened in 2026 in the south of the country and in the Volga region. Investments in each branch are estimated at approximately 130 million rubles, with additional costs for retrofitting up to 20 million rubles annually.
The main clients of the centers will be patients with injuries, amputations for medical or industrial reasons, as well as military personnel and veterans of the special operation. A significant part of the services is planned to be financed through compulsory medical insurance, the Social Fund of Russia and the «Defenders of the Fatherland» fund, with commercial sales of prostheses and rehabilitation services for individuals and participants in voluntary medical insurance.
