The number of traffic accidents involving e-scooters and other personal mobility devices in Moscow decreased by 54.9% in the seven months of 2025, according to the capital's State Traffic Inspectorate.

During this period, 442 such accidents occurred on the city's roads, in which 3 people died and 462 were injured.

The number of deaths decreased by 70%, and the number of injured decreased by 55.1% compared to the same period last year.

The State Traffic Inspectorate reminded that when moving in pedestrian zones, it is necessary not to obstruct pedestrians, dismount before crossings, and use protective equipment.

The State Traffic Inspectorate also emphasized that rental scooters are allowed to be rented only from the age of 18 and after verification through Mos ID. The department recommended riding alone and strictly observing traffic safety rules.
