Все дальше от JAC: производство отечественных рам для пикапов Sollers запустили на мощностях Ульяновского автозавода

In-house frames will reduce logistics costs and supply risks

The Sollers Group has launched the production of frames for its ST6 and ST8 pickups at the facilities of its subsidiary, Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant – UAZ Stamping Production LLC. The first pilot batch has already been produced. The designed capacity of the line is up to 10,500 frames per year.

The production line is equipped with modern equipment: welding jigs, a stand for hydraulic punching of suspension holes, and an automated straightening stand, which completely eliminates manual labor and ensures the accuracy of the frame geometry. The total investment in the project amounted to 200 million rubles.

Sollers notes that its own frame production will ensure stable maintenance of vehicle quality, increase production flexibility, and reduce logistics costs and risks associated with external supplies.
