Full-cycle production of the TENET T7 crossover, the first model of the new Russian brand, has begun at the "AGR Holding" plant in Kaluga. The launch became possible after the modernization of the welding, painting and assembly shops of the enterprise.
Preparation for production has been underway since 2024. Automated body geometry control systems were installed in the welding shop, cataphoretic treatment technologies were introduced in the painting shop, and the assembly line was adapted for the new model. Before the launch of mass production, more than 200 pre-production bodies were manufactured, which were tested according to 2100 parameters.
The project is being implemented in partnership with Defetoo, with whom an agreement was signed in February 2025. The plant employs more than 4,000 specialists, many of whom have many years of experience at the enterprise. Some components for TENET T7 are produced in Russia, and the localization rate is planned to be increased.
The Governor of the Kaluga Region, Vladislav Shapsha, noted that the region retains its position as one of the centers of automotive engineering in the country. Representatives of "AGR Holding" and Defetoo emphasized that production meets international quality standards. The start date of sales has not yet been specified.
