Отложенный старт: массовый выпуск Lada Iskra перенесён на 2026 год

Experts: The reason is a shortage of parts and logistical problems

According to insiders, mass production of AvtoVAZ's new Lada Iskra has been postponed to March-April 2026. According to BRT, a company that journalists call a partner of the auto giant, the mass appearance of the new product in car dealerships should not be expected in the near future.

The official start of sales of Lada Iskra took place on July 20. Currently, only 21 such cars are registered with the traffic police. Moreover, 20 cars were purchased by legal entities, most likely they were bought by dealers for exhibitions. Only one Lada Iskra is in private hands.

Dealers report that purchasing a Lada Iskra is currently not possible. Responses to customer requests come down to the phrases "wait a little" and "will arrive in the near future." No one names specific dates, which causes dissatisfaction among potential buyers.

The reasons for the delay in mass production are not disclosed. Experts suggest that the main factors were a shortage of parts, problems with electronic components, and logistical difficulties. Preparations for the release are ongoing, but it is not possible to speed up the process. As a result, only a few dozen cars will roll off the assembly line per week, experts believe.
