The company "Many Applications", which develops the Russian messenger Max, has filed several applications with Rospatent for trademark registration. This is reported in the electronic database of the department. The latest applications were filed in July 2025.
According to Rospatent, the company wants to register various versions of the name and logo of Max. The messenger's press service confirmed the fact of filing the documents, explaining that this practice allows protecting the brand from copying and leaves opportunities for further development.
This does not mean that the company intends to use them: this approach protects the brand from copying and preserves freedom of choice in further development.
In addition to the main functionality, the messenger includes mini-applications, a chatbot builder, and a payment system. In the future, the service plans to integrate with the "Gosuslugi" portal, a digital identifier system, electronic signature, and educational services.
