New air defense systems, including the Skvorets-PVO interceptor drone, were presented for the first time in Moscow at the "Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future" forum. It was developed at the Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CUST).
The drone is designed to intercept and neutralize enemy targets. Artificial intelligence (AI) technologies have been implemented in the Skvorets-PVO. The drone automatically captures the target and flies towards it at a speed of up to 270 km/h.
Among other CUST developments are the Kinzhal interceptor (integrated into an autonomous drone detection system), the Dron-X UAV (equipped with a homing head), the Ovod-PVO strike UAV (delivers a kinetic strike or strikes with a warhead), and the Bolt (equipped with a target detection system based on radar).
Earlier at the forum, a representative of the Design Bureau announced an increase in the production of Piranha FPV drones.
