18 Thousand Taxis Inspected

Since the beginning of 2025, the Moscow Administrative Road Inspection (MADI) has seized approximately 1.6 thousand taxis. This was reported by the capital's Department of Transport in its Telegram channel.

Over seven months, MADI inspectors checked approximately 18 thousand taxis. Inspections were carried out daily in various districts of Moscow. Seizures were conducted under Article 27.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. This article regulates the seizure of items and documents that have become objects or instruments of an administrative offense.

Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport, Maxim Liksutov, noted that all carriers are obliged to monitor the condition of their vehicles and undergo medical examinations. He emphasized that malfunctions in vehicles or poor health of drivers can lead to serious accidents.

Liksutov also added that MADI inspectors will continue to monitor compliance with the rules to make taxis safer and more comfortable for passengers.
