The UAZ plant plans to create a "Patriot" with an automatic transmission and a diesel engine. But at present, the manufacturer is not testing such SUVs. This was reported in the press service of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.
UAZ still intends to introduce modifications with automatic transmission to the model line. But at the moment it is premature to talk about any plans for the appearance of such versions. The main focus of the test program is now on diesel versions with a six-speed manual transmission. It is this UAZ Pickup that is captured in the photographs that were recently published in a number of Telegram channels. This is our test car, but with a diesel engine and 6MKP.
The automatic version is unlikely to be released on the market until 2025-2026.
UAZ announced that it does not plan to switch to a four-day work schedule, like Kamaz and the Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ). The company will continue to operate as normal.
