NtechLab, a technology partner of Rostec, has developed a video analytics system based on artificial intelligence that will identify violations of traffic rules by cyclists and bike couriers.
In case of violation, the AI assistant will make a polite voice remark, for example, remind you to dismount before a pedestrian crossing or not to ride on the sidewalk if there is a bicycle path.
The system works with all types of bicycles, except children's, and is already in the final stage of testing. It is planned to be used in public spaces, including parks. Previously, the company launched a similar development for scooter riders.
Bicycles and e-scooters are becoming increasingly popular, but they also create risks for pedestrians. AI will help improve safety on the streets and make getting around the city more comfortable for everyone.
